Michael Moore Country
Atrios links to Sirota's piece disputing the absured Christain Coalition argument that the Democrat's can't attack the war in Iraq as being based on fabrications of intelligence because that is "Michael Moore Country," the left-wing conspiracy-mongering of the war in Iraq.
Trouble is, of course, that when it comes to this particular topic, we don't need Michael Moore to assert himself- America actually already feels completely ripped off by the government and lied into war. The war is going nowhere, Katrina has exposed the cronyism and incompetence that's been there since 2000, and the continuing investigation and raining legal indictments point to nowhere else: a government completely corrupt; a war completely designed for ideology. America feels this, that's not Michael Moore.
Though, just for kicks, we might as well give Mr. Moore his due... he did, anyway, say it first. Kudos.
