The War on Relief
Despite being forced to vote on the $51.8 Billion Katrina relief Aid Package without having any room for discussion or amendments, every Democrat voted in favor of the package. Their concerns, which they wanted to discuss, were the amount of money going to FEMA's PR campaign; but they still voted it in.
Those who voted against the cash, and presumably, against giving necessary relief to Katrina survivors? 11 Republicans. All of those who voted against this money were Republicans. The List [via Willis via dKos]:

These eleven congressmen, Republican conservatives all, just voted against the $51 billion package ( H. R. 3673) for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Horrible human beings, all.
