BWOOP! BWOOP! Security Breach!

The Bush Administration has one more dramatic notch to carve into their belt: with no significant cold-war style enemy, past the great era of espionage, the Bush White House has been infiltrated, for the last 3 years, by an agent of espionage selling Administration secrets via email to "an enemy."
Both the FBI and CIA are calling it the first case of espionage in the White House in modern history.

Officials tell ABC News the alleged spy worked undetected at the White House for almost three years. Leandro Aragoncillo, 46, was a U.S. Marine most recently assigned to the staff of Vice President Dick Cheney.

"I don't know of a case where the vetting broke down before and resulted in a spy being in the White House," said Richard Clarke, a former White House advisor who is now an ABC News consultant.

Federal investigators say Aragoncillo, a naturalized citizen from the Philippines, used his top secret clearance to steal classified intelligence documents from White House computers.
Potential Rightist spin: Arangoncillo worked in the office of vice-president Al Gore during the Clinton era [seeding the "blame Clinton" gag reflex]. However, after joining the Marines, he took up his activities under VP Dick Cheney, dark lord of all things security.

While this is not a particularly dangerous outcome, it is a particularly dangerous situation. At the very least, the fettering process for employees of the White House leaves shocking holes that need be patched in this era of such dangerous information.
