Domestic: Rudolph

The current thread of Domestic Terror in the United States has not taken the form of Islamists, fortunately. But it's important to recognize who, in the past decade or so, in America, has actively saught to bring terror to Americans, and for what purpose.

Leading the charge is the Moral Authority of serial bomber Eric Rudolph who faces sentencing later today for his bombings of abortion clinics and the Atlanta Olympics. Rudolph accepted a plea bargain which will limit his sentence to 4 consecutive life sentences. Why the bombings?
In a statement distributed after his guilty pleas, Rudolph portrayed himself as a devout Christian and said the bombings were motivated by his hatred of abortion and a federal government that lets it continue.

"The fact that I have entered an agreement with the government is purely a tactical choice on my part and in no way legitimates the moral authority of the government to judge this matter or to impute guilt," Rudolph said in the statement.
Because he contains the moral authority over the government and can justify bombings, maimings, and killings because he serves a higher order of power.

This is, by the way, a parallel way of thinking to Islamist terrorists, and essentially any organization or individual that bombs for causes- that their moral compass is infinitely greater than a government's or the people's.
