The Iraqi government puts the death toll of Iraqi civilians as a result of teh Invasion [and Insurgency, which is, of course, a result of the invasion] at 12,000.
Anytime these numbers come forward it's difficult to comprehend what they really mean. But at the very least, these people and their hurt families deserve our respect. A moment of AntiCentenarian contemplation for all the losses as a result of the war, including our 1,600 killed US soldiers.
