Except for this: Russia has it's own ter'rism problem. Remember the horrific Beslen school bombings and the plane downings? Russia, our old nemesis-turned-ally (America: The Perfect WWE Star), has as much to pain from this as we do, and recent security breakdowns might just spring all of those nukes free. As the Arms Control Association says:

Healing all of these wounds [with European Nations] will be important for America’s national interest, but none is more significant than restoring our increasingly close strategic relationship with Russia, for Russia is the only country that can make or break our war on terrorism.

And not because of their allegiance to us- because they might lose one of those nukes to the Chechnyan terrorists, who might pass it to those more familiar [to America] Islamic terrorists. You know the old saying: Why build your own thermonuclear Cold-War era warhead yourself when there's an underground free market and you can buy them?

The point of this blog entry: What a fucked up mess we're in. Still! Other than that... I really don't know. Frustrating damn mess.
