The Voting Record
Kos points out what can only be a very bad, if illuminating, omen:
I, however, believe it is much more closely related to the corrupt election of Mike V. to the venerable post of Recess Announcer in my 3rd grade class- where he won with 28 votes, but only 20 students were in the class.
And most of them were out sick.
House Republicans- as power hungry and corrupt as an 8 year old elementary kid- but with actual access to power. Scary!
And now, after a second whack at it, we meet our new Majority Leader:
Sen. John Boehner.
Is this funny or scary?Excuse me? Kos likens the Republican vote for House leadership to the management of Florida's election, 2000.
"House Republicans are taking a mulligan on the first ballot for Majority Leader. The first count showed more votes cast than Republicans present at the Conference meeting."

How dare you call Mike V. power hungry!
One might as well make Dick Cheney majority leader as he has extended the executive powers everywhere else. I'm really not sure why we have a legistlative branch at this point.
Damnit, I said it once, and I'll say it again! It was a FAIR VOTE! The Rats of Nimh (Hanz and Franz) were allowed to vote! Not to mention the absentee ballots!
Just because I happened to be the one to manufacture the official Vote-And-Garner-Boxilogic-Anonymous Geopolitical-Survey Kleenex box, suddenly it's a corrupt race. None of you even WANTED the position!
