War On Criticism

Bush unleashes his new masterplan on Iraq today, unveiling a timetable and definitive proof that the Invasion has been justified.

Or not. He will, however, start a campaign-like nationwide war on critics who have claimed that The Administration manipulated intelligence in order to Invade [complete with negative ads, we can assume]. On Veterans' Day, Bush is going to attempt to justify why the only thing he's accomplishing is making more veterans.

What is not manipulation of intelligence to go to war: repeatedly using information, starting in August of 2003, from an al Qaeda operative caught in the field who was discredited in February of 2003 as justification. What is not manipulation of intelligence to go to war: Saying that "Everybody in the world" thought Saddam was seeking WMD components when even your own intelligence agencies had serious doubts.

And then invading for the above reasons.
