Bonjour de Paris Live8!
Bonjour mes amis! It is Sunday morning very early and I've just returned from Live8 Paris! Here are some photogs. Consume, Enjoy, Repeat. Tell your Friends!
I won't post descriptions at this time due to time constraints/ internet access issues. But know that most of these images don't feature the artists as much- more the experience. That's what was valuable and exciting. Up to 1.5 million people WENT to the Live8 concerts worldwide, and their broadcast reached up to 75% of the world. This is an astounding prospect, and indeed, not even possible even 5 years ago. [300,000 in Versailles, and apparently, surprisingly, Philadelphia had the most people show up! Go USA! it goes to show how many "lethargic" Americans can be drawn to social justice, given the chance!]
But the amount of people even exposed to this idea is phenomenal. It is a gloablized social-action- and if the 8 tiny leaders of the world can't recognize how tiny they were amongst these peaceful masses, then they need to be made aware.
It is a mistake to believe that the world is ours for our sake.
And now, to a cafe pour un cafe, un salade, et beaucoup de vin. Merci!
