Better than Bolton

Saying that the "United States can do much better than John Bolton," Republican Voinovich still will allow a confirmation vote to occur, but without a recommendation of approval from the panel.

This bodes well for those who support Bolton. It will be likely be easy to walk into the Senate and raise the votes from Republicans, and likely some Democrats. A few shouts of "If you hate Bolton you hate Freedom" from the Administration and more people than is respectable will easily turn to support the choice of an ardent anti-internationalist sitting in the UN like a virus.
