Bush raised the possibility of using Force on Iran if it does not un-start its process of rebuilding the capacity to make nuclear arms.
Good thinking. I think we can take Iran with a force of like, I don't know, 10,000 troops.

They'll welcome us with flower petals in the street. We'll be international heroes. Our soldiers will throw candies to their children and they shall rejoice upon the visage of their savior. And their WMD program will crumble.
Or- maybe by simply telling them that we're seriously considering Invading, they'll just, like, stop. That must be the goal.
They certainly won't engage in Manhattan Project style escalated research into building a nuclear capacity in order to have a viable nuclear option in the case of an impending invasion, would they? Nooooo. Of course not.

Its about time, too! As you say, we do have thousands and thousands of extra troops that are just waiting to go somewhere and occupy.
I don't think China is in a war right now either. Lets go there next.
